Afghan Tikka (Beef) at KABUL Restaurant, Jinnah Super, F7.

Kabul Restaurant was the first to introduce Afghan cuisine in Islamabad in 1983 and has always been one of the busiest restaurants in the city. Frequented by the Afghans, residents of Islamabad and members of the diplomatic corps, it has the reputation of being the best among the host of Afghani restaurants in the federal capital.
The tikkas are flavorful and are a must have with the green chutney and Afghani naan. Try the Kabuli pulao too as it’s equally delicious.
It’s recommended to have the tikkas warm and fresh, takeaway is never a good option, as the meat becomes hard with time.
The place is always buzzing with families and there’s a waiting list on weekdays too. They have opened another branch at a walking distance which serves the same taste but the primary branch has a particular feel to it which reminds you of the good old Islamabad.
